2 sheets of construction paper

What You’ll Do:

Fold the first sheet of construction paper in half, longways, and place your child’s hand, palm down, on the sheet, with their thumb and first finger touching the fold.

Grandparents Day Craft

Use your pencil to trace around the thumb and each finger, down to the wrist on both sides.

Grandparents Day Craft

Leaving the paper folded, follow your pencil line to cut the hand out, being careful NOT to cut the seem on the first finger and thumb. Open the sheet of paper to reveal TWO attached hands with a heart shape between the thumbs and forefingers.

Grandparents Day Craft

Place your second sheet of construction paper horizontally on the table and paste the hands down. Fold in half to make a card (with the hands on the inside).
