Make no bones about it: these Q-tip skeletons are a spooky craft with an anatomical twist just in time for Halloween. Simply turn to your craft supply drawer (and bathroom!) for the materials.
You Will Need:
- Construction paper
- Cotton balls
- Q-tips
- Glue
- White crayon
Because of the cotton-y nature of the materials you are working with, perhaps make a glue pile in which to dip your cotton balls and Q-tips instead of trying to glue everything directly.
Put together three cotton balls for the skull. Dip them in the glue pile and attach them to the construction paper. Cut out a nose, eyes, and mouth, and glue to the cotton balls.
Dip the cotton ends of the Q-tips in the glue to sick them to the paper. You can be creative with your skeleton’s pose, discussing where the major bones of the body are and their proper place on the page.
After your skeletons have dried, take some time to label the proper anatomical names of the bones of the body.
Happy Halloween!
